What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

An accurate number of the guests attending is key, so we can plan how to efficiently manage the bar service. If the client can let us know their favourite drinks, we are always happy to accommodate them. Bespoke cocktails? No problem - we can design them around you. Ideas of budget are also really helpful, so we can tailor a quote to the clients needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would say that as with anything, you really do get what you pay for. Look at the supplier's experience, website and general presentation, and try and get a feel for how well established they are. Try and chat to them on the phone if possible so you can discuss options in more detail. Ask them about their staff, are they well trained? Are they smart, friendly and professional?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I was running some of the top cocktail bars in Paris, then in Manchester, and kept being asked to make cocktails for private events and weddings. There seemed to be a huge demand, and at the time, mobile bar standards were quite poor, so there was a gap in the market for a really high-end service. It made complete sense to invest in some mobile bars, and start the business. It has been 10 years now and we haven't looked back. I work with some of my best friends, and have been lucky enough to supply some amazing VIP clients in some incredible venues.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We enjoyed working a beautiful event at the weekend, which was booked through Add to Event. This whole platform makes communication between the customer and supplier very easy, and has been great for us. The event went wonderfully well, we impressed the guests with our innovative cocktails - and you can see the client has just posted a rather lovely review of us!
